well, Nortel had been junk stock for last couple of years, last few moths their shares were jittering under USD 1.00 but now they have only two ways -- finally closed shop, or survive in very hard way

@qgil you can go to artificial skating rinks -- one of them in Helsinki next to railway station (what we call Rautatientori actually), the other one I know is in Kallio not far from Stone Church, etc ... Funny enough, I don't remember do we have them in our bleloved Leppävaara... Maybe we should ask Sello to get "iced" at least part of parking on rooftop ;)

it might be really interesting to see (after open-sourcing) Jaiku running also on Amazon's AWS and making finally money on per-hour basis vs uncertain ad revenue from Google Ads ... sad part - those money will go to developers, not to Jaiku team.

My assumption is that Jaiku people trying to digest message themselves -- they knew change will happen, but didn't know D-day.

@overpills I know you would hardly ever turn your eyes/ears to me, but... relying on existence of central hub is your main mistake. Since you don't trust me anyway, I suggest you to consider reworking your strategy without my input, just accept the fact that your strategy will fail rather sooner than later.

technically nothing stops to extend Mauku up and beyond on top of Fremantle, granted it has all is necessary for even-better-than S60 functionality. you can find few slides on Fremantle somewhere not far from top of my blog http://silpol.blogspot.com/ and ... pity that Jaiku has this ad-based money stream (not a river, i.e.)

there is only one way out from intranet -- proxy. If you did not configure proxy -- it will keep you within perimeter for sure, so... just run it without proxy :)
